I am a Muslimah and I’m not oppressed

As a Muslimah I need to wear my hijab, to feel protected. As a Muslimah who wears her hijab, not as a sign of oppression but as a sign of liberation. As a Muslimah who wears a hijab not as  sign of oppression but as a sign of obedience to Allah subhana wa talah I am just stricken with so much anger, to read and see what hijab, Islam and women have become in the eyes of men. Rape is not about dress, legs, cleavage or sex is about control, humiliation. If I need to wear my hijab and not be rape I will do so as a sign of obedience to Allah talah,  even if I have to wear a paper bag over my head is ok.

Islam liberated me of all oppression, gave me the right to inherit, gave me the right to vote, gave me the right to work and keep my money and gave me the right to divorce. And all these wonderful things were given to me before American and European women knew what was to work,vote and inheritance. IN YOUR FACE!

Islam has done more for women than all the politicians in the world.  I’m liberated and as a  Muslimah I choose to wear hijab for honor and obedience to my Lord.

We have our new addition to the Stupid Politician Hall of Fame.  We have heard about the disabled and mentally ill, killing illegal immigrants and now rape because of the way someone dresses.  And the award goes: Is a three-way split.  We can forget about: “I know you are illegal because of your olive skin or it was brown.”

Kathleen Passidomo, you are the most ignorant woman I have heard of. You have no compassion and no sense of humanity.  You are such a stupid woman who believes in the echos of her own words. Who ever put your dizzy ass in office should bet in jail.  Women like you make it difficult on women.  A WOMAN SHOULDN’T BE TOUCH, NOT EVEN WITH A PETAL OF A FLOWER.  Kathleen Passidomo,  if you are a mother you should choose your words carefully. It could be you at the end of the stick.  Kathleen Passidomo, I though Alaska’s ex-governor  was an idiot, but even her can compare with you.

President Obama where are you?, when all these politicians are acting a fool and bringing the US. back to the 50′s.  Come on enough foreign policy, concentrate in the people who put you in office.  We the people need you, where you at?  By the way CLOSE GUANTANAMO PRISON, STOP THE TRIALS. YOU PROMISE, but that is another story.

When I  read the head line, I believe Mrs. Connie O’Brien was referring maybe to an accent  or the language the young woman was speaking.  You have to listen to the audio. Is amazing how ignorant and racist our government has  become.  It seems they are catching the Alaska ex-governor disease, idiot.  You all know who I am talking about, but enough about her.

If my son is out of school for six years, he better be working or doing something productive. Like saving money for college.  I am just saying, what are you  saying?  And I am more than sure if your son don’t suffer from any physical condition he  is more than capable to do his own paper work.  All you wanted do to was show your face to see if you could get any favors.  Oh, yes look is Mrs. O’Brien…”  That is the reason you are mad. Most likely if your son had receive any kind of help, you would have been quieter than a church mouse.  Mrs. O’Brien you are KS GOP Rep, what are you doing asking for financial aid?  You know how to do things but certainly don’t know how to say things.   You got mad because your son could not get a free ride.   I doubt seriously the conversation you heard was in the entirely the truth.

Not everyone with olive skin is illegal.   What is next, able to tell we are illegal by the way we walk?

Egypt, a nation under fire.

This time fire is the cry of many.  A nation receiving  a monthly stipend from United States, denying people of their human rights and  intimidating the young.  Yes, intimidating them into a state of compliance.  Where are the jobs?  Where is the medical care?

The US, once again wants to step in the middle of someone elses business. In all actuality, the US wants Mubarak to stay in power. Just a slap in the wrist and off he goes to which ever country allows him to enter.  Taking with him all the millions in monthly aid giving by the US. 

Once again, this is not our fight. President Barak Obama,  keep our country safe by allowing a nation to make their own decisions. Not everyone wants our type of democracy.   Don’t you think we have done enough? Remember  Iraq, Iran, Cuba to mention a few.  Come on, we have troops spread out trough out the world and you want to intervine in a conflict which at the end of the day does not concern us.  Foreign policy is just another way to keep our country, in debt.  Overtime, we want to “fix” everyones issues with or for a  country. What we do?,  we come out-of-pocket and paid them off.  How much money is given to Israel, Cuba ect..?

Our country is in ruins, we are trying to keep with the Joneses and we have no idea how to do it?  First, take care of the US and their people. Second, bring our troops back, after all Saddam is dead and the country destroyed.  Third,  President Barak Obama keep working on fixing what is left of our nation. 

I am not the only one who feels this way.  Our  nation is on welfare, we have a nation with no health insurance, crime in our nation  is increasing and our young men are dying.  Our nation is a nation with no sure future. We gave the  power to you.   President Barak Obama, we gave you free rains  to certantly do what is need it to be done and surely enough it looks and sounds  like we need more help than other countries.

 Yes, we all know the excuse, the republicans.  VETO that is the game plan. VETO is the way to go. At the end of the day, what else can go wrong?  Enough of playing around, do what is need it.

And We, the people have the right to bear arms…

Six people killed, including a child.  Others injured and the focus is on Representative Gabrielle Giffords.  A political figure who:” once said that she herself owned a Glock — the same firearm the man accused of shooting her is said to have used.”  What are the odds of getting shot by your favorite gun?

Is time for the law makers to re-think gun laws in the USA.  Having the right to bear arms, does not mean laws should become more and more relaxed. Knowing how all these shootings are affecting our society.  When a  shooting occurs we all go and buy guns.  We have no training, we don’t secure them at home making them accessible to children.  Who turn around and hurt themselve and others.

 How easy is to buy a gun?  Well you can go to our friendly neighborhood Wal-Mart, they have what we need. There are magazines and  websites are just as bad as these stores. How can we stop a magazine or a website?  The magazine goes bankrupt and two month later is back in the market under another name. Websites are shut down today and 20 more sites will become available.

Law makers; it is about time to take control.  Democracy, like cancer is a deadly, silent killer.  Give us  freedom and we just don’t know how to act.  Stop the irresponsible gun sellers, we need laws to protect our innocent.  Laws were created in light of chaos.  Right now we are living in chaos.  Law makers go to work in protecting the innocent not the ones that walk around with a  Glock 23.  Our women and children, not the one who hides in the light of disaster.

Being kind to one’s daughters.

Aisha may Allah be please with her narrated: One day a poor woman with two daughters came to mean I gave her three dates so she gave each of them a date. She then raised the date to her mouth to eat it, but her two daughters wanted it so she broke the date and gave each half.  Thus I was truly amazed by her act of kindness.  So I mentioned to him may peace and blessings be upon him, what she did,and he said, “Because Allah made it incumbent that He enters her into Jannah, and He saves her from the fire.”  And in another narration it states, “whosoever is tested with these daughters, and he/she is kind to them, then that will be a protection for him/her against the fire.”

عائشة رضي الله عنها مع الرجاء وروى لها : يوم واحد امرأة فقيرة مع ابنتين جاء ليعني أعطيتها ثلاثة تواريخ لذلك فأعطت كل واحدة منهما تمرة. وما طرحته ثم التاريخ إلى فمها لتناول الطعام ، ولكن ابنتيها أرادت ذلك وقالت انها كسرت الميلاد وأعطى كل شوط. وهكذا وأنا مندهش حقا من قانون لها من لطف. ذكر ذلك قلت له قد وسلم عليه وسلم ، ما اقدمت عليه ، وقال : “لأن الله جعل لزاما أن يدخل لها في الجنة ، وقال انه ينقذها من النار”. وفي رواية أخرى أن الدول ، “كل من يتم اختباره مع هذه بناته ، وقال انه / هي نوع لهم ، فإن ذلك سيكون حماية له / لها ضد الحريق.”

Benefits from this hadeeth.

This hadeeth illustrates Aisha’s radiyallahu anhaa, generoity, kindness, and the love to do good for others.  For in some narrations its states that all she had to eat were those dates she gave the poor woman. And this was something well known about her, for one time Mu’aawiyah radiyallahu anhu sent her a hundred thousand dirhams and before the day was over she gave it all away to the poor and needy.
